Dear sailors,
We have been informed that one of our members who attended last Thursday sailing session on 1 October tested positive for SARS CoV-2 over the weekend. Health authorities are notified and required protocol was followed, with no further measures required for the VISC. Nonetheless, in a proactive effort to ensure safety of our members we have also informed potential contacts directly.
We remind you that in addition to the mitigation measures during and after VISC sailing events, as communicated on 17 September 2020 (refer to https://visc.at/2020/09/17/increased-covid-19-mitigation-measures-during-visc-sailing-events-masks-to-be-worn/ ), we ask you to wear your mask whenever indicated, respect the one-meter physical distancing and refrain from gathering in groups, after VISC sailing sessions, including on the other side of the Wagramer bridge at the stepped area.
Do not attend sailing with symptoms or when feeling ill and if in doubt we recommend contacting health authorities/ hotline 1450.
We thank you for your continued cooperation and still hope to see you on the water for the remainder of the season.
Stay healthy!
Anya VISC Commodore
